Mother’s Day Alone but Not Lonely

· Gifts of awe and wonder from my garden. ·

Mother’s Day in the midst of a pandemic could be a dismal experience except for the grace of a loving Savior who will never leave us or forsake us; I am alone but not permitted to be lonely today. This morning as I went for my daily dose of vitamin D from the warm Florida sun, I could not help but be overpowered by the awe and wonder as God gave me grateful eyes to see some of His gifts to me from my garden.

The beauty and promise in a virgin bloom.
Life can be hard, but grace is more powerful.
Abandoned potting soil gave a surprise.
Not a cloud in the magnificent blue sky.
Mangoes surviving the squirrels and ripening to sweet perfection.
Joys of lock-down with Jesus in my Happy Place.

May God grant you the grace to see your many blessings today and may your hearts be filled with the awe and wonder of the amazing love that has already been shed in the heart of everyone that is in Christ.

What can separate us from the love of God found in Christ Jesus? Nothing; not even a lock-down in a Pandemic (Romans 8:39). May God bless you and keep you safe, but most of all may God draw you into His presence where there is the FULLNESS OF JOY.

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11

Such a blessing. The joy that comes out of the dirt, beautiful and spotless, cause He made it so. Thank you Jackie for sharing, I am blessed and encouraged.
